Lasith Malinga will play a key role when Sri Lanka start their 2019 World Cup campaign today against New Zealand. The Lankan pace machine is now only two wickets behind the elite list of top five wicket-takers in World Cups. Malinga, with 43 wickets in 22 matches, is holding on to the 7th position just behind former Indian bowling greats Zaheer Khan and Javagal Srinath, who both have 44 wickets to their names.
