Liverpool’s dream of winning the first league title in 30 years received a huge boost as they beat defending champions Manchester City 3-1 at Anfield opening up 8-point lead at the top of Premier League table. Two goals in the first 13 minutes from Fabinho and Mohamed Salah handed them a great start before Sadio Mane’s header early in the second half secured City’s fate. Bernardo Silva pulled a late goal back for City.
