Mary Kom set for competitive debut in 51kg at India Open

London Olympic bronze medallist Mary Kom will be making her competitive debut at home in 51kg in the upcoming India Open, starting in Guwahati from May 20. With Olympic qualification ahead, India Open will see 35 men and 37 women boxers from India fighting for glory in the USD 70,000 tournament. Mary Kom had earlier decided to skip the Asian Championships last month to prepare for the World Championships.
