Andy Murray delivered probably his best singles display since the career-saving hip surgery in January to beat eighth seed Pablo Cuevas at the European Open. After a nervy win in the first round on Tuesday, the Briton looked much sharper against Cuevas. This is his fifth win in last seven singles matches. Murray, currently 243rd ranked in the world, will next face Romanian Marius Copil for a place in the semifinals.
