Twin centuries from Stephan Baard and JP Kotze propelled Namibia to a historic win against Hong Kong to achieve the ODI status, the first time they will play ODIs since the 2003 World Cup. Meanwhile, Sese Bau and Kiplin Doriga excelled with the bat as Paua New Guinea defeated already-qualified Oman by 145 runs to secure ODI status as well. New Guinea also made it to the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.
