Sports events in US and Canada are gripped by coronavirus scares, after the NBA suspended its season when the news of a Utah Jazz player tested positive for COVID-19 broke out. A dramatic last-minute postponement of Utah’s scheduled game against the Thunder in Oklahoma City created much panic in the wake of the outbreak. It also forced Canadian authorities to cancel the World Figure Skating Championships in Montreal.
