Veteran sports journalist Ruchir Mishra was also among many who passed away due to COVID-19 complications. Contributions from different parts have come to support Ruchir’s family. Many notable cricket stars have also made generous donations. As per the website, veteran fast bowler Umesh Yadav has donated one lakh INR, while his teammate Cheteshwar Pujara contributed INR 50,000. Ravichandran Ashwin also made his contribution.
