Former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq feels that Pant is capable enough to surpass the records of greats like Adam Gilchrist and MS Dhoni. Haq reckoned that more than KL Rahul’s innings in the last ODI, it was Pant’s fiery knock that led India to post a huge total in front of Englishmen. Pant’s 77 runs of just 40 balls turned the course of the game and accelerated hosts’ innings like fire towards the end.
