Cristiano Ronaldo ended the year winning the best men’s player at the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards. Messi had pipped him to win the Ballon d’Or this year, for the record sixth time. But the 34-year-old, bagged his fourth successive prize at the awards after guiding his club Juventus to the 2018-19 Serie A title in his first season in Italy while also playing a crucial role in Portugal winning the Nations League.
