Top Indian shuttlers Saina Nehwal and Kidambi Srikanth crashed out of the Denmark Open on Wednesday after their first-round defeats. Saina lost to Japan’s Sayaka Takahashi 15-21 21-23 in an encounter that lasted 37 minutes. The 29-year-old London Olympics bronze medalist was the runner-up last year. Meanwhile, in the men’s singles first round, Kidambi Srikanth was defeated by Anders Antonsen of Denmark 14-21 18-21.
