Alexis Sanchez continued his sensational form at the Copa America as the striker fired Chile to a 2-1 win over Ecuador to take the reigning champions into the quarterfinals of the 2019 edition. Sanchez had earlier this week ended a barren five-month when he scored in Monday’s 4-0 win against Japan. The Manchester United striker later revealed he was playing with an ankle injury picked up in the 1st half.
