Joe Root was clean bowled by South Africa's Kagiso Rabada on Day 1 of the Third Test between the two countries. Batting on 27 off 46 balls, Root was handling the Proteas pace battery nicely until he encountered a 144kph length delivery from Rabada. It was typical 'you miss and I hit' episode in the 65th over of England's innings. Root failed to read the ball that skidded low eclipsing the bottom edge of his bat.
