The Scotland side beat the Papua New Guinea side in the 5th Match of the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers. The Papua New Guinea outfit was set a target of 166 for victory by Scotland, but the Assad Vala-led side was bowled out for 148. The Papua New Guinea side got off to a horrid start and lost its first 5 wickets with just 35 runs on the board. Norman Vanua kept the fight going for his side, and scored a 37-ball 47.
