Shakib Al Hasan was involved in another unwanted occurring. In the 40th match of the 2021 DPL between Mohammedan Sporting Club and Abahani Limited, Shakib got tangled in controversy after showing dissent at the umpire’s decision. He appealed for an LBW decision against Mushfiqur. However, the on-field umpire didn’t give the batter out. Shakib reckoned that the batsman was struck in front and he lashed out at the umpire.
