In a bizarre incident in the match, Shoaib Malik smacked his stumps and was declared hit-wicket during the 4th England-Pakistan ODI at Trent Bridge on Friday. It happened in 47th over of Pakistan innings Malik was trying to give himself room to open up his off-side but ended up taking an extra step backward. While trying to play the square cut off a slower one from Mark Wood, Malik the stumps instead of the ball.
