Sinclair set to buy 21 regional sports networks from Disney for $10 bn

Disney is all set to sell-off 21 regional sports networks to Sinclair for $10 billion. The selling is part of Disney’s purchase of Fox and its assets in the deal which concluded earlier this year. But as Disney is already strongly present in the sports area through ESPN and its other networks, regulators wanted to strip those regional sports networks. The deal has been finalized successfully.
