South Africa blame IPL for Dale Steyn’s injury

Admitting that South Africa would find it difficult in the World Cup without Dale Steyn, captain Faf du Plessis blamed the IPL for the fast bowler’s injury. The 35-year-old seamer has been ruled out of the tournament with a shoulder injury. The Proteas captain said Steyn had picked up the injury during the IPL matches he played this year. Steyn played 2 games in the IPL for Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore.
