Sri Lankan fast bowler Suranga Lakmal will give a miss to the 2-match Test series in Pakistan after contracting dengue fever. He has been replaced by Asitha Fernando, who will join the team for the second match of the series, the first one in Pakistan for over a decade since the militant attack on the Sri Lankan team in March 2009. Sri Lanka lost October’s 3-match ODI series in Pakistan, but won the 3 T20 matches.
