Sunil Gavaskar wants Rohit Sharma to takeover captaincy from T20 World Cup itself

Weeks after Virat Kohli announced that he will be stepping down as the T-20 captain of the Indian side and Rohit Sharma will be the new captain, former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has said Rohit should takeover captaincy from the T-20 World Cup itself. “Rohit Sharma would definitely be my choice for captaincy of the Indian team for both these T20 World Cups,” Gavaskar said on a Star Sports show.
