Team winning T-20 World Cup to get Rs. 12 crore, announces ICC

The International Cricket Council has announced the prize money for the upcoming T-20 World Cup. "The winners of the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be awarded prize money of $1.6 million while the runners-up will take home $800,000," a statement by ICC read. In Indian rupees, the winning team will get Rs. 12 crore. The runners-up will get Rs. 6 crore. ICC also announced 150 seconds break for the event.
