Tokyo Paralympics: Silver confirmed as Pramod Bhagat reaches badminton final

World champion Pramod Bhagat ensured the addition of another medal to India's tally as he defeated Japan's Daisuke Fujihara in straight games at the event. The 33-year-old beat Fujihara 21-11 21-16 in men's singles SL3 class semifinals. This is the debut year for Badminton at the event and Bhagat has become the first Indian to qualify for the gold medal match in the sport. He will pair up with Palak Kohli for mixed doubles.
