Following a democratic and transparent voting by the UEFA executive committee, Germany will host the Euro 2024. The final bid was made by Germany and Turkey, but Turkey lost the bid due to concerns like limited hotel capacity and lack of human rights action plan. The European Championship has been previously hosted by West Germany in 1988, so Germany will get to host Euro 2024 for the first time as a unified country.
