Valtteri Bottas won the Japanese Grand Prix with teammate Lewis Hamilton finishing third behind Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel. The win secured a F1 record 6th straight World Championship double for Mercedes. Hamilton is not yet world champion, but only Bottas can catch him. Briton Hamilton is 64 points ahead of Bottas and needs to be 78 clear of the Finn to grab his 6th drivers' title at the next race in Mexico.
