An opening video shown during the U19 World Cup saw Virat Kohli introduce himself, saying “Virat Kohli, captain, right-handed middle-order batsman, my favorite cricketer is Herschelle Gibbs. A fan uploaded the video of Virat on Twitter marking Gibbs and wrote, "Virat has learned from you." Gibbs didn’t miss out on the message to which Herschelle Gibbs replied with a “Smiley" & thumbs up emoji saying- "ok then.”
