New Zealand defeated India by 10 wickets in the first Test in Wellington to take an unassailable 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series. India were bowled out under 200 in both the innings while facing a lethal pace attack led by Trent Boult, Tim Southee and debutant Kyle Jamieson. India managed to get a lead of just 8 runs after getting bowled out for just 191 in the second innings. The Kiwis chased it down in just 2 overs.
