West Indies defeated India by 8 wickets in the 1st ODI at Chennai on Sunday. Shimron Hetmyer's 139 runs innings and his 218-run partnership for the second wicket with Shai Hope took the visiting team to the victory. Shai Hope scores his 8th ODI century. Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant half-centuries empower India to 287/8. With this win, West Indies have taken 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
