Women’s World Cup 2022: Shamilia Connell stable and discharged from hospital

West Indies played a thrilling game against Bangladesh and won it by four runs. But during the closing stages of the game, the team underwent a stressful period when Shamilia Connell collapsed on the field. The ambulance came on the ground and she was taken to the hospital, however, CWI has now cleared that it was only a precautionary measure. The board has also cleared that she is doing well and has been discharged too.
