Young Assam archer suffers horrific injury during training

Shivangini Gohain, an archer from Assam, had to be airlifted to Delhi and admitted to AIIMS Trauma Centre after an arrow accidentally pierced through her shoulder bone during a practice session. The incident happened in a regular training session at Chabua in Dibrugarh. Whether Gohain, a trainee at SAI but not part of Khelo India Games, will undergo a surgery or not that will be decided after further examinations.
