Bill Gates-backed startup to use Sunlight to create heat

Bill Gates-backed startup Heliogen is aiming to turn sunlight into a source of heat exceeding 1,000C that could replace fossil fuels. Bill Gross the CEO of Heliogen has said that the technology could reach temperatures of 1,500C to split Hydrogen particles from water in order to create a fossil-free gas to power factories, car and warm the homes. Gross said they are aiming to contribute to solve the ongoing climate crisis.
