Facebook backs Indian education startup Unacademy

Unacademy, one of India's fastest growing education technology startup, which aims at democratising education got its new investors on Wed.Social media giant Facebook is one of them, with Atlantic and Sequoia India. This is a 110 million $ project. Nexus Venture Partners, Steadview Capital and Blume Ventures also became a part of this, along with Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO, Flipkart and Sujeet Kumar, co-founder Udaan.
