GIC invests $200 Mn fresh fund in CRED, valuation to reach $6.5 Bn

Singapore-based sovereign wealth fund GIC would lead a fresh funding round of $200 Mn in fintech startup CRED. Mint reported the new funding round would value Dreamplug Technologies, the company that runs CRED fintech platform, at more than $6.5 Bn. The valuation may further rise to about $7 Bn, depending on investor’s interest in the company.
