Google to invest $2 Mn in Indian NGO using AI to prevent agricultural loss

During Google’s annual I/O conference, the giant announced the investment of $2 million in Indian not-for-profit organization, Wadhwani AI, under a programme which concentrates on using AI technology for social welfare. Google will also support 19 other startups from all over the world under this programme. The start-up, Wadhwani AI uses artificial intelligence in the agricultural area to deal with crop loss.
