'Startup India-WhatsApp Grand Challenge': Awards Prize Money of Rs 35 lakhs to each of the 5 Winners

A contest called 'Startup India-WhatsApp Grand Challenge' was held to come up with new business ideas for Whatsapp and promised to reward the winners with total prize money of $250,000. A total of 1700 entries from all over the country was recorded. All the ideas required Whatsapp as a platform to run the business. The entries were evaluated for innovative thinking, impact & ability to solve real problems.
