India successfully test fired ballistic missile Prahaar

In another display of defence power, India successfully test-fired the indigenously developed surface-to-surface tactical missile ‘Prahaar’ from Launch Complex-III, ITR, Balasore at about 1.35 p.m amid heavy rains. Developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the missile is capable of carrying multiple types of warheads and can also engage multiple targets in different directions.
