2019 witnessed more Indian apps installations than Chinese apps

2019 belonged to the Indian apps. According to the latest study Indian apps have recaptured their original standing as the largest group in the “Top 200” apps by install volume with 41%. The Chinese and Indian apps altogether made up nearly 79% of the list. In the news and entertainment segment, Chinese apps like TikTok made huge gains while Indian apps ruled the gaming segment. App retention rates also improved since 2018.
