Achieved 90-95% Chandrayaan-2 mission objective: ISRO in 1st statement after Vikram lander setback

In a first statement after Chandrayaan-2's Vikram lander lost communication with ground stations during its final descent, ISRO said, Chandrayaan-2 mission was a highly complex mission, which brought together an Orbiter, Lander and Rover to explore the unexplored south pole of the Moon. Till date 90 to 95% of the mission objectives have been accomplished, notwithstanding the loss of communication with the Lander.
