China continues to innovate and develop 5G mobile technology despite the threat of cyber espionage activity related to many Chinese state-sponsored data activity organisations. According to the study, the country has installed 916,000 5G base stations, accounting for 70% of the global total, and it has already deployed 70% of the world's 5G base stations, according to Chinese state-backed media source Global Times.
