A Chinese space station has fallen back to Earth on Friday after spending almost 3 years in orbit. Tiangong-2, a 34 feet long & 19,000 pounds in weight, mostly burned up during the controlled reentry event. However, some debris fell into an unpopulated area of South Pacific Ocean. The space station was launched in September 2016 to build a unique space laboratory designed for long-term human habitation.
