Apple acquires Texture magazine

Apple has acquired Texture magazine, a subscriber-based digital magazine for $50 million. While the terms of the deal haven't been made public, They've said that they will provide quality journalism. The Texture is available across a variety of platforms but it's expected they will eventually scale back on certain areas the app focuses on as they integrate services. Their SVP will speak about the deal at SXSW.
