Apple creates its own TV Studio, new programs lined up for TV+

Apple is forming its own in-house studio, will produce Masters of Air, Band of Brothers & The Pacific. Apple has a long list of new programs lined up for its TV+ subscription streaming service, but they won't own any of announced shows. With its own studio, Apple can own some of the content outright & lessen the need for negotiation of licence fees with other studios. It can also give them rights to things like merchandise.
