Apple joins Data Transfer project along with Google, Facebook and Twitter

Apple announced that its joining the Data Transfer Project, an initiative launched in 2018 to develop an open-source project aimed at making it easier to transfer data from one service to another. The project mostly contains back-end coding to make data export tools like Google Takeout & Facebook’s Access Your Information tool compatible with each other. Tech giants Google, Microsoft, Facebook and Twitter all have signed.
