Apple will now notify iPhone users after it was forced to admit that it deliberately slowed down iPhones in older devices to balance out performance & battery life. The tech giant promised UK watchdog CMA to notify users of potential iPhone slowdowns. A Reddit user found improvement in CPU performance on replacing batteries. Apple later admitted & apologised for intentionally throttling phones with ageing batteries.
