Apple is reportedly working on a new smart tag aimed at helping customers find misplaced items through their iPhones. The tag would be linked to a user's iCloud account via an iPhone and users would apparently receive notifications when their iPhone is too far away from the tagged item, serving as a reminder that could prevent the owner from leaving that item behind. The gadget is being referred to as "B389".
