At 1.7 Mn, YouTube removed the highest number of videos in India during July-September 2022

India accounted for the biggest chunk of YouTube videos removed during the quarter ended September 2022, as per tech giant Google’s quarterly transparency report. Of the total 5.6 Mn videos delisted on the streaming platform during the period, more than 1.7 Mn videos were removed from India alone. Indonesia was at the second position with 0.62 Mn video removals. Google had removed 1.32 Mn videos in India in the preceding June quarter.
