Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Delhi lead in digital merchant payments

In terms of peer-to-merchant digital payments, Bengaluru, Delhi and Hyderabad have come up as the top 3 cities, according to a Razorpay report. The report reveals that Karnataka has witnessed the highest adoption of digital payments with 26.64%, followed by Maharashtra (15.92%) and Delhi NCR (13.01%). While the usage of UPI has increased, the use of net banking and cards have witnessed major decline in between 2018 and 2019.
