The WHO's top oncologist Karol Sikora tweeted that there is a real possibility that the coronavirus will burn out naturally before any vaccine is developed. His statement triggered several responses and later Sikora clarified that he was pointing a feasible scenario which might be possible in the present unknown situation. WHO has revealed this week that 8 vaccine candidates are undergoing clinical trials at present.
