Chandrayaan-2: Vikram the lander gets closer to landing

Since its launch on July 22nd, Chandrayaan-2 is operating independently for the first time. In the latest update, Vikram, the lander went through its first maneuver at 8:50 am on Tuesday and has reached closer to the Lunar surface. The second maneuver is scheduled for September 4th between 3:30 am to 4:30 am. Vikram is expected to touch down on Lunar surface on 7th of September between 1:30 am to 2:30 am.
