Chennai-based security researcher wins $10,000 for detecting fault on Instagram
On Monday, Laxman Muthiyah said once again discovered a new vulnerability on Instagram. As part of a bug bounty program in the social network, he earned $10,000. Muthiyah's detection of the app's vulnerability is comparable to the one reported in July that permitted everyone without authorization to hack Instagram accounts. He found that multiple passcodes of users can be requested using the same device ID.
