China approves clinical trial of two experimental coronavirus vaccines

China has given the nod for the early-stage human clinical tests with two experimental vaccines to fight the novel coronavirus that has wreaked havoc worldwide killing 100,000 people. The vaccines are being clinically tested by a Beijing-based unit of Nasdaq-listed Sinovac Biotech, and by the Wuhan Institute of Biological Products, an affiliate of China National Pharmaceutical Group, a Chinese government setup.
