China tests country’s first photovoltaic highway

A road allocated with the presence of built-in wireless charging system for the electric vehicles and other sensors for drones is something China has successfully achieved in Xinhua, the eastern province of the country. It’s a 1 km long solar powered highway and the bottom has three layers with the photovoltaic devices. France was the first country to introduce photovoltaic highway before China.
